Our Dad was an avid runner and bicyclist winning many competitions in his age group. Dad was also a 1996 Olympic Torchbearer which he was so honored to be nominated for by McClure Engineering in Ottawa. Our Mom was a dedicated nurse and became the Administrator for Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Streator. She was awarded the 2001 Administrator of the Year Award.
