Kaitlyn Bauman, a senior at Ottawa Township High February School, is the February Musician of the Month, sponsored by Carlson Auto Body and Salt Tree Yoga. Kaitlyn is a 4 year member of the OTHS Choir program, OHS Musician of the Month being a member of Concert Choir all 3 years possible. She is also a 3 year member of OTHS Vocal jazz, being a part of the top group, Vocal Interflow all 3 years possible as well. She holds the position of Choir Treasurer. She is a 2-year ILMEA District Choir member and a 3-year ILMEA District 2 Vocal jazz member. Kaitlyn has also been very involved in Solo and Ensemble, collecting various Division 1 Superior ratings in her solos and ensembles. She has been a part of 3 best of day ensembles during her time at Ottawa. This denotes the best performance heard in a particular room at Solo and Ensemble Contest. Kaitlyn's activities outside of school include being a member of Limitless Body Sculpting for 2 years and being a waitress at Grand Bear Resort.
